In 2019 I was invited to create a poem for SFMoMA’s Open Space project. I wrote ‘Capitol & Broad’ a poem that was published online and is rendered physically in the SFMoMA parking garage!

Shortly after the rendering, I was admitted to QWOCMAP’s institute wherein I created a short film from beginning to end within a long weekend. The film is set to the audio of ‘Capitol & Broad’ and will be premiering at QWOCMAP’s International Queer Women of Color Film Festival online.

Capitol & Broad will be showing the closing night of the festival, June 14th. There will be beautiful films throughout the weekend to watch, I’m grateful to see mine as a part of the line-up.
